Blessings Of God

Malachi 3:8-15
Regardless of what we bring to God, He is faithful to use it. He doesn’t just use our offerings; He multiplies them. When we bring our time, He gives us rest. When we bring our talents, He offers ways to use them. When we bring our treasures, He uses them for His glory.
God doesn’t need our offerings. So why would He want us to bring them to Him? I think there are a few reasons. First, it reminds us of the truth that “the earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it” (Psalm 24:1). Second, it encourages us to be good stewards of the gifts He has given. Third, it allows Him to bless us.
When we grasp tightly to the gifts He gives, they become what is important, not God. When we offer them back to Him with a grateful and joyful heart, our arms are wide open to receive more of Him: more of His presence, more of His blessing, and more of His joy. Pray today that God will help you be a joyful giver and watch how His blessing floods your soul.
