Return To Him

Malachi 2:17—3:7
Sometimes I am in awe of God. I can’t believe that He loves me, chooses me, comes after me. I can’t understand how He could love me in my ugliness, forgive me of my sinfulness, call me into fruitfulness. It’s amazing to me that God would invite me to come to Him and promise to be waiting for me.
He is, after all, the Creator of the universe. The Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. He is our Redeemer, Savior, Friend. He is Alpha, Omega, Beginning and End, Lord of Hosts, King of Kings, Lord of Lords. This marvel and wonder—this God—calls to us and invites us to return to Him.
He watches. He expects. He anticipates. He prepares. From the beginning of time, God has been moving and working for you, and for me because that’s what a loving Father does.
No matter what we have done, no matter how far we have strayed. God is calling us to return. So, no matter where you are, know that you can return to Him today.
