Choose Wisely

Exodus 4:1-12
Objecting to a call from God does not release one from a call from God. Moses offers excuse after excuse about why this plan is not going to work. They’re not going to listen. I’m not equipped for this. Please send someone else. But God is sovereign over everything, including our excuses. They won’t listen? Here’s some proof. You’re not equipped? That’s okay, I AM. You need some assistance? Here’s a community to come alongside you.
Once God has placed a call, we have two options: accept it or run from it. A third option, wait until it goes away, is far less likely.
Ask questions. Pray. Lament. Celebrate. Study. Strategize. Rest. Choose all of these and more as you process through that to which God is calling you right now. At the end of your process, you can already know what you’re going to choose. You, a faithful witness of our Lord Jesus Christ, can have the courage to choose option one every time.

Hallelujah! We are indeed faithful witnesses of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We are God’s fellow workers, God’s field, God’s building 1 Corinthians 3:9 God always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. “through us” — we are His instruments and vessels to preach the loving word of God. Amen and Amen.
