A Different Way

Acts 18:1-8
We often think of Paul as a great evangelist who spread the gospel to the many places he went. Because of our thinking of him as a hero, we often forget about the struggle. Not everyone listened to Paul’s preaching. He went week after week into the synagogue to preach that Jesus was the Messiah they were waiting for.
Paul did great things throughout the world, yet he still became discouraged when people wouldn’t listen. It is easy for us to feel the same way.
Paul needed something different, so when his preaching in the synagogue felt like a failure, he went to the home of Titius Justus, where the leader of the synagogue, Crispus, and his entire family chose to follow Christ.
As we share good news with others we may find discouragement, but instead of giving up we may just need to do things a different way. We may find that hospitality, cultivating community, true relationship, and service are better ways to share Christ than preaching before crowds ever could be.

We enjoy, and are thankful for Reflecting God devotional each day. We listen regularly. My question is, can we also listen to an audio version of the scripture reading for each day? If so, how do we set that up? I have an apple phone that we use for listening to the podcast daily. Thank you in advance,
Tim Leonard
