Paul’s Passion

1 Corinthians 15:1-11
When we believe in and are passionate about something we want to tell others and make sure they fully understand. Paul recognized and completely acknowledged how horrible he was before he gave his life to Christ. Paul wanted everyone to have the life changing transformation he experienced and come to know Christ personally.
Imagine Paul’s frustration when false prophets in Corinth were denying the resurrection of the dead, which resulted in Corinthians questioning and even doubting Christ’s resurrection!
Paul jumped into action! He wasted no time explaining to the Corinthians how Christ died for our sins, was buried, and then on the third day rose from the grave. Paul then strengthened his account by listing multiple credible people the Corinthians knew, to whom Christ had appeared after He rose. Finally, Paul concludes his effort to dispel the false prophets and prove the resurrection was real by sharing his first-hand knowledge that after the resurrection, Christ also appeared to him.
Lord, give us the passion of Paul!
