Study, Observe, Teach

Ezra 7:1-10
One of my favorite pastimes living in the Puget Sound is catching seafood. In the summer I take my girls at low tide to dig up manila clams and oysters at the beach. At high tide, we take our crab rings and catch crabs off the dock.
I didn’t grow up in the Puget Sound, so I had to learn how to do all these things. I googled it first, then I watched clips on YouTube, and I would also simply watch others and learn from them. Later, I figured that the best way to learn is to just go do it. It was a lot of fun. However, the fun was further magnified when I began teaching my girls how to do it.
Study, observe, teach. It seems like a pattern that we’re meant to live out, especially in our relationship with God. We need to be devoted to learning more about God through His Word. Let’s seek to live it out every day, and finally, develop the desire to teach others about it. By devoting our lives to these things, we’ll fully experience the life God intends for us to live.

Father, I truly went learn about You and live it out before the world so that they will see you in me. I need more of You and less of me!

More of you less of me. Will try to live by that. Thanks
