Acts 18:12-28
Standing in an elementary school hallway is where it all went down. The mother of three stood waiting for the final bell to ring so she could collect her children. That’s when another parent started declaring to everyone in the hall how the Bible was completely fake. The mother just wanted to pick up her children and get out of there as soon as possible. After all, what would the other parents think of her if she stood up for her faith? As she stood waiting, however, she heard God say to her, “Will you stand up for me?”. She told the parents around her that she believed in God and that the Bible was the inspired Word of God. From there she shared her faith and why she followed Jesus. Later in the day she received a text from the parent with the opposite view. It read, “Thank you for sharing your faith. While I don’t believe the same, it has made me think a lot.”
As Christians, we will encounter those who do not believe as we do. Will you be able to share your faith?
