Steadfast In The Midst of It All

Galatians 2:11-21
Everything comes at us so fast in this world. We are surrounded by a storm; ever pulsing pictures and continually invading noise. Multitudes of people telling us what to think and how to think it; trying to make sense of the world for us.
As Christians the only voice we hear, the only image we see is that of Christ. The words of his teachings still the chaos of the whirlwind. It is the vision of his kindness, his compassion, and his love that transfigures our lives into the image of his holiness. In the midst of the symphony of discord and frenzied action we remain centered, locked onto Christ, never wavering. It is through the vision of Christ’s words and actions, we interpret the world and its many voices. It is through his compassion, kindness, and love that the surrounding flittering shrapnel settles and order can be found. No matter how distracting, always remain steadfast, centered on Christ in all things and all times.
