The Son Reveals The Father

John 1:1-18
Believers have always wanted to know God. There were definitely times when God revealed himself in the Old Testament Scriptures, but for the most part, God has remained a mystery. Even in the Holy of Holies in the Jerusalem temple, God was separated from His people. They could not look at the face of God and live.
Then a new day came when God became flesh and figuratively “pitched His tent” among us in the person of Jesus. God moved into the neighborhood. In so doing, God has made himself known to us through Jesus.
Do you want to know what God is like? Look to Jesus! “The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being” (Hebrews 1:3a). Jesus shows us what God is like, and He shows us the way to the Father.
Similar to the way Jesus’ life reflects the image of the Father, as followers of Christ, we are called to reflect Jesus in a world that still can’t see Him. May our lives be a reflection of God’s glory.
