Total Commitment

Ruth 1:15-22
Ruth was totally committed to Naomi. She was committed to traveling with her. She was committed to staying with her. She was committed to her family. She was committed to following Naomi’s God.
Are we willing to go where God tells us to go, and stay where God tells us to stay? To become a part of a different culture in order to show the world we are totally committed to God? “A selfless spirit” leads to a “total commitment.”
Ruth’s life displayed an unselfish attitude: Going where God said to go and remaining where God said to stay. That kind of total commitment brought hope to Naomi, who desperately needed it.
With God’s help, we too can have a selfless spirit and be totally committed to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, helping bring hope to the people we encounter on our journey with Jesus.
