Love in Love

Titus 3:1-11
When we live in love, it has to impact everything we do. If we are honest, our motivation to love others is that we really weren’t any different from them before we knew the love of Christ. God showed us His lovingkindness, saved us, washed us, gave us new life, and poured His Spirit into us.
The Apostle Paul reminds Pastor Titus (Titus 3:1-11) that those of us who trust in God must be careful to devote ourselves to doing what is good. How would Paul advise us to live in love? He says to do those things which are excellent and profitable to everyone. He says not to get caught in foolish fighting with those who won’t change without Jesus. Instead of wasting time on unprofitable and useless arguments with sinful and warped people we should simply stand for what is right, but do it with as much love as possible, even if we can’t “win the day.” Our goal should always be to win the lost.
