Unlimited Hope

Mark 5:1-20
“All things are possible with God” (Mark 10:27). It seems as though this affirmation is one that a vast majority of Christians would make regarding their faith. With that said, there are still those times and circumstances where hope seems impossible to muster up.
The demon-possessed man had gained a reputation over time. We are told that numerous people had done their best to subdue and control him. His strength was great, his behavior was erratic, and despite the people’s best efforts, he continued to wander the tombs and the hills in agony and suffering. It would have been easy to write him off as a tortured soul.
Mark 5 tell us that when the people saw this man who had been possessed by a legion of demons now in his right mind, they were afraid. What seemed to be outside the realm of possibility had become possible through Jesus.
We will continue to find ourselves facing circumstances and situations that seem impossible. Let us remember that there is no scenario we can find ourselves in that is outside the realm of hope and possibility with God.
