Transformation

How is it that God created us to be so adaptable? To Saul a whole new world opened; scary and exciting, all at the same time. God’s plan: Saul was told, he was anointed with oil, then the Spirit of God came upon him, and he was transformed. That is the business God is in.

I saw our son-in-law Charlie go from playing his guitar with his beer drinking buddies to writing songs for Jesus. I saw a former Muslim accept Jesus into her heart with simple childlike faith. Now she leaves the imprint of beauty and grace on all she touches. I saw Craig, a former alcoholic, find out how Jesus fills the empty places of the heart. Now he leads his family with strength and courage. I see Jesus in our daughters, Rachel and Miriam. Where they work they have become the unofficial chaplains. They are fired with passion to make a difference. I see Jesus working in the lives of people every day.

God is in the life-changing business!
