The Answer to Jesus’ Prayer

When we complain about the slowness of God to respond to our requests, we should remember that here is a prayer of Jesus that remains, all too often, unanswered.

Obedience to God’s Word, through the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit, is the outward affirmation of God’s inward work in our lives. Sadly, many who align themselves with Christianity aren’t even sure what God’s Word says and therefore remain unchanged by it. Jesus continues to plead for those for whom he died that they would live as he patterned and thus fulfill the glory for which they were born.

People who witnessed Jesus’ miraculous deeds and words realized that no one could live as he did unless God was specially and uniquely present with him. As with Jesus, it is our glory when others see God in us.

Is Jesus’ prayer being answered in your life?

I´m not very sure aout this phrase: “s with Jesus, it is our glory when others see God in us.” because when others see Jesus in our lives, the glory is all for our God, ´cause we are like Jesus just for the amazing grace of his Spirit in us. Glory to the God of holiness!
