Acts 8:26-35

In Acts 8, Phillip obeyed the promptings of the Holy Spirit to bring the gospel to an African dignitary while riding in a chariot. God used this cross-cultural encounter to bring the good news to the continent of Africa.

Today, God continues to empower us to share our faith with others. He provides opportunities for us to offer our testimony seasoned with the love of God. Connect with people the Lord brings across your pathway. When sharing your faith brings fear, beware of excuses, “this is not convenient,” or “I feel inadequate,” or “I do not know them.” Instead, simply ask God to provide an opportunity to share what the Lord has done for you. When you have an urge to write a note, call or text someone, go with it.

As God prepares your heart to be concerned for someone, it is likely He is also preparing the person on the receiving end. You are not where you are by accident! God may be providing divine appointments because the people around you need Jesus. As God directs you, be ready to chase some chariots.
