Leviticus 19:1-18

Leviticus 19 is a collection of sundry laws, both ethical and ceremonial, and sound familiar to the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20. Of the 18 verses, 8 caution the reader, “I am the LORD your God.” This must have been a very important point for the assembly of Israel to remember.

Janet befriended a neighbor and wanted so much for her to come to know Jesus. Life happens and Janet and her husband went through a devastating divorce. Janet so worried that the divorce might turn off her neighbor to the claims of Christ. But the neighbor replied, “Oh, the way you behaved throughout the whole ordeal made me see Jesus in you.”
