Tim lived recklessly before moving to Argentina in 1976. While attending university there, he thought deeply about God. Finally, he submitted to his calling and began studying theology.

During this time, Tim met many people and saw the world. Upon completion of his final year of schooling in Paris, he returned to Korea. He was appointed the Old Testament professor at a seminary in Seoul.

Tim believed that God knew his lack of experience in ministry because God sent him to work at a local church for eight years. Tim knew it was ideal for a professor to have a life of ministry experiences before teaching.

God knows our needs far better than we do. He always guides us and shapes us to be the people we need to be. Salvation comes from fearing the Lord, and he always proves himself faithful to complete the good work he began in us.
