God Desires Everyone to Know Him

Psalm 19:7-14

In Psalm 19, the psalmist confirms God’s perfection, even in the decrees, laws, commands, and statutes given. These verses are wonderful because they offer another look into the heart of the Lord and help us to maintain a good relationship. Among other uses, these verses are a way for us to measure ourselves and a way to know that we are serving God well. There is also a promise that we will be eternally rewarded if we follow them with pure hearts.

One of the important things about prayer is to give us a way to ask for correction. In our conversations with God, we are to ask for conviction about any times we are not in line with God’s heart and will. By surrendering the power of our life to the Lord, we are not giving power to sin and transgressions. We are able to live as pure of heart as we are able.

Service requires the humbleness to make adjustments if needed. Take time today to allow God to examine your heart and life.
