Trust God

Luke 12:22-34
There’s an old saying that says, “Worry is like a rocking chair, it will give you something to do, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.” Of course, it’s easier to say than do. Telling someone not to worry about something is just about guaranteeing that they will worry!
We worry about relationships, finances, safety, security, and our future. If you name it, you can find a way to worry about it! Today, however, we see that Jesus calls us to look at a bigger picture.
Look at the birds! Look at the flowers! Look at the fields! They all thrive and flourish because God takes care of them. If God can take care of all those things, what more can God do to take care of you?
When we worry, we find ourselves in a place of questioning if God is big enough, caring enough, and resourceful enough to meet our needs. The God of creation created you and can take care of your needs as well. Stop worrying and trust!
