Our Futures Look Positive

New life is a blessing! It reminds me of when seeds sprout, deciduous trees form buds, and much of the animal kingdom blesses us with little babies.
Visiting a new place is exciting. Browsing a travel brochure or destination website can help us anticipate a beautiful location. Pictures and descriptions are helpful, but they are nothing like the real-life experience. Words can only go so far in describing the beauty of our future destiny. Heaven will be better than we have imagined!
“Where the river flows everything will live” (Ezekiel 47:9). That passage promises that the river will contain large numbers of fish, many kinds of fish. Wherever the river flows, there is new life. Wherever the Spirit of God flows, in the life of a Christian, there is an abundance of new life.
In Christ life flourishes and is satisfying. The Bible pictures new life that is found in Jesus Christ as fullness, abundance, and joyfulness. Wherever the Lord gives life, it is abundant.
