We’re Accountable to Care for Others

Ezekiel 34:1-6
Each of us have a unique set of life experiences, lessons learned, and stories to tell. We are each the only person with the influence we have. Nobody else has the impact, the circle of influence, the perspective, or the ability to serve others the way we do. We are each distinct in that regard. God calls all of us to follow His compassionate example by caring for those we can.
Our neighbors, coworkers, church, and social groups need someone like us to be there for them when they need us. When they’re suffering, doubting, wandering, or searching for truth, we need to recognize the fact that God has placed us in their lives to help them in their time of need. They don’t need to be abandoned, ignored, or rejected by those of us who are called to show God’s love. They need someone to be present, encouraging, caring, and selfless. We are each called to be that someone.
Let’s choose to be the one God leads to care for those around us.
