Praying Through The Spirit

Romans 8:26-30
I don’t know about you, but sometimes I feel at a loss in knowing how I should pray. Perhaps that is why I love knowing that the Spirit of God intercedes for us. I relate this to the way a translator communicates a message from a language that is unknown to a language that is known. The job of a translator is not to provide a literal word-for-word relay of a message, but to interpret and share the fullest and most complete essence of the message. A good translator knows how to convey the truest meaning of what’s been said, in order that it can be most precisely understood.
The beauty of the Spirit’s intercession for us is that not only does the Spirit translate our prayers well, but the Spirit perfects them. Knowing the truest and deepest yearnings of our hearts, the Spirit expresses to God what we are not even able articulate.
The next time you’re at a loss to know how to pray, I would encourage you to just sit in silence. Open your heart to the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Very clearly articulated dear sister. Prayer is powerful. It is intercession and the Lord Jesus knows the depth of our groans for all needs at all times.
