Our Hope Is In God

Psalm 37:1-9
With the death and resurrection of Jesus, the world was forever changed. Jesus frequently talked about the already but not quite here kingdom of God. As Christians, we are called to live into this kingdom. But, there is a problem: the rest of the world doesn’t know that things have changed. As a result, we are called to live out the kingdom as we go about in the world.
Often, the world around us seems dark and it feels like evil is winning. We see lying and cheating people getting what they want. God calls us to be a people of integrity, who wait and trust that He will provide what we need when we need it.
A life lacking integrity might seem rewarding at first, but eventually it will lead you to ruin. A life of integrity might not seem rewarding at first, but through time you become known as one who is trustworthy and honest. God wisely tells us to live a life of integrity trusting that He sees our actions and honors us for them.

Amen yes Father, our Lord and Saviour, you created us in the likeness of your image. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special people, so that we may praise Him who called out of darkness into his marvelous light. With this comes integrity. We are his children. 1 Peter 2:9
