Hebrews 6:13-20

To swear, or to affirm by an oath, is a serious matter. An individual stakes their entire reputation on their word. In the case of Abraham it was Yahweh Yireh (or Jehovah-jireh), “The LORD Will Provide,” who swore the oath (Genesis 22:14). The Lord’s promise was, “I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore” (Genesis 22:17a). Abraham and his descendants had to be patient as the promise was fulfilled.

The writer of the Letter to the Hebrews reminds us that we have also received a promise. This promise is an “anchor for the soul, firm and secure” (Hebrews 6:19). Because Jesus died, rose again, and is alive forever, “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

Jesus lives forever. He will fulfill His promise to secure salvation and eternal life for all who trust in Him. Like all promises it requires patience on our part, but the fulfilment is secure, because the One who promised is ever faithful.

    Bom dia.

    JESUS. JESUS. JESUS

    ALELUIA AAA ?????????
