Hope Well-Placed

Romans 4:13-25
God kept every promise He made to Abraham. As outlandish and impossible as those promises may have seemed, God kept them all. Abraham could trust that God would never break His promise.
We are still experiencing the fulfillment of those promises today. Abraham’s life was an amazing example of a life lived in trust and obedience. While we can learn how to develop unwavering faith like Abraham, the character of God remains resolute and unchangeable. We do not have to wonder if God means what He promises. His promises are always kept.
God the Father promised centuries ago that a Savior would come to redeem people who are lost in sin. Romans4 says that those who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus will be counted among the righteous who will stand before God the Father. Because God’s promises can be trusted, we know we can hope. It was for this reason and purpose Jesus endured the cross for us and was raised to glory.
Our faith in Him is rewarded with an eternity with Him. That is a hope well placed.
