We’re In God’s Protection
August 25th, 2020
Psalm 105:12-22
I grew up in “tornado alley.” It stretches from Texas through Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska (my home state), and South Dakota. Each spring and early summer, we had to “be weather aware” of the severe storm potential. As part of the precaution and preparedness for storms, you always knew where you would go when tornado sirens sounded.
God’s hand of protection was on His people. When the people were strangers in a strange land, God was with them. Even during difficult times, God was moving and working to protect His people.
God does not promise a life free from heartache and pain. However, God does promise to be with us and give us the strength to endure whatever we face in this life. He is our refuge and protection when the negative circumstances and difficulties of life come our way.
What storms are you currently experiencing? Despite what you are facing today, you are not alone. You can trust that God is working and moving on your behalf. May today, you seek His power and presence.
