To Share Or Not To Share

Psalm 92:1-15
The pivotal word in Psalm 9:1-2 is “proclaiming.” Consider the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea. The Sea of Galilee has water flowing in and water flowing out. The Dead Sea has no water flowing out, only in. The region’s climate and the Dead Sea’s greed are the two factors causing the sea to be so dead. The Sea of Galilee, on the other hand, has vegetation, sea life, and communities surrounding it.
Jesus said “For whoever wants to save their live will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it” (Matt. 16:25). Whatever blessings we gain through our relationship with Christ are best used by giving them away. Sometimes this means the physical giving away of things, but it always means sharing our story. When we share the love and faithfulness of God our lives become so much more enriched. When we hoard the blessings of God, we die spiritually. So tell of God’s faithfulness and live abundantly.
