Way, Truth and Life

John 14:1-14
Jesus’ words, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6), have correctly been used for these two millennia as a hallmark text for the proclamation of the Gospel. One of the first evangelists of the church proclaimed before the rulers, elders, and those of the high priestly family, “Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Since that day Christ’s heralds have preached that the way to God is through Jesus. The truth of God is most completely revealed in Jesus, and life—real, authentic, new life–is found in a relationship with God’s Son.
Whatever you are facing, Jesus knows the way through. Confused about what you are seeing, hearing, or even thinking? Let Him sort out the details and tell you the Truth with a capitol “T”. Conscious of having to make a decision but paralyzed which is the best decision? Remember, the way to live today is through Him and following His decision.
