Where’s The Evidence?
May 14th, 2011
Luke 11:45-54
In a justice system, evidence must be presented in order to convict a defendant. Witnesses are called, evidence collected and presented to a jury. It is this jury of one’s peers who decides the guilt or innocence of the one accused.
If you were on trial for being a Christian, would there be sufficient evidence to convict you? Who could testify to the fact that you know and serve Jesus? What kind of evidence from your life would be produced to prove you are a follower of Christ? What would you say on the witness stand? Would you acknowledge him as the Savior of the world and the Son of God?
May we live our lives in such a way that there is no question about our devotion to God. It may mean taking a stand that is not popular or that the world will not agree with. It may mean being misunderstood and persecuted.
Are we ready? Are we willing? Again, I ask the question: Where is the evidence?

Wow. The qeustion is in deed a good one. so many times we try to hide the fact that we are born again christians which is children of the Living God. But Paul writes this words ” We are open letters to the world out there” and when the world wants to see Jesus they look at us who proclaim that we are saved. But are we living the life of a saved person?
The qeustion comes up again “WHERE ARE THE EVIDENCE”
