Faith At Its Best

Matthew 8:5-13

It is so easy for any of us to face situations when we lose faith in God. Prayer becomes a drag. Daily devotional readings have gone behind. We waver in our faith.

The Scriptures speak of having a faith that removes mountains. Without faith, the Church would not make progress. Indeed, if you study prayerlessness leading to decrease in attendance at church and Sunday School, it is all connected to low faith. “Without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Heb. 11:6). We become like an car battery when it is affected by the cold and damp. We need to be recharged to be empowered.

We must remember that we are redeemed. Our redemption is complete through Christ our Lord. We must have the faith and confidence that he is at “central control.”
