Real Life

Reality shows are all over the television. Many involve two or more teams competing against each other for the grand prize, usually a lot of money. Besides the prize, what drives those teams to work hard, push, and even hurt themselves?
Real fear is described by Jesus. “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell”. Eternal death–now that is something to be afraid of. Jesus did not end there. We have hope and a reason not to fear. He has provided a way to eternal life through Jesus Christ because we are of value to Him.
How do we know this reality in our lives? Jesus is clear about this. Make Jesus Lord of your life. This is real life, trusting in the One who is on our side for eternity.
