God Sustains His Leaders

Psalm 89:14-24

God not only chooses to sustain and strengthen His leaders, but He often chooses people who need the most help to accomplish His mission. Abraham and Sarah were elderly, but God chose them to birth a baby to pass on faith to many generations. Moses had a speech problem, but God chose him to speak to Pharaoh. Joseph had become a slave and a prisoner, but God used him to save a nation from famine. David was the youngest and smallest, but God used him to kill the largest and strongest, Goliath. God selected a little boy with only 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish to feed over 5,000 people.

These examples are only just a few of the many times that God was clearly the sustaining and strengthening force behind the great actions of people. If He can use these people to lead, surely He can use you and me! It is not by our own strength that we accomplish His mission, but only by choosing to be sustained and strengthened by Him.
