A True Blessing

Romans 10:5-15
Sometimes we get confused about what a blessing is. Romans 10 promises a blessing to all who call on Jesus. Why does it matter that there is no difference between Jew and Gentile? Because anyone can call on Jesus now and be saved. There is no exclusion based upon ethnicity, class, economic status, or any of the ways the world chooses to categorize people. The blessing promised is not money, power, comfort, or status. The blessing promised is simply a relationship with Jesus Christ.
The desire for more money, or more anything is deeply engrained in human nature. Constant advertisements tell us that we need something more.
Is your relationship with Christ enough? Or are you seeking worldly possessions or status that God never promised? Worldly possessions and status will never satisfy. Only Jesus can satisfy.
