Mark 5:1-20

Betsy began to reveal the darkness of her past. “I believe that I have been tormented by demons,” she revealed. The details of her story were scary, but her sincerity was obvious. There isn’t hard evidence to prove the incidents that she reported, but I can give witness to significant changes in her behavior and lifestyle in the last few years.

Two years ago, I walked through the emergency entrance and into her room where she lie writhing on a table—head flopping around, eyes rolling back and babbling unintelligible words. The most bizarre evidence was the fact that she had ingested a deadly dose of chemicals.

Through her dedication to seeking Christ, she began to receive emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Because of her illness and hospitalization, she lost her career, her house, and most of her friends. But, today, Betsy lives contentedly in a small apartment within walking distance of her church. Her whole life is devoted to prayer and praise.

We, too, can choose to fight spiritual warfare every day by being devoted followers of Christ.

What has happened to the online version of Reflecting God? I have not received one in several days, and the latest one at this website appears to be July 30. Are the changes at NPH right now the cause for this interruption in delivery? If so, will it resume in the near future?

Thanks for providing this online source, as it has been helpful to me in my devotional life.

I can only assume the person(s) responsible for this service have been dismissed. Too bad.
