In 1988 the University of Kansas men’s basketball team won the national NCAA championship with the lowest win-loss percentage. Even though they drew a very low “seed” they persevered until they beat the University of Oklahoma in the final game, 83-79. The reason they won the victory was because of the outstanding play of one player by the name of Danny Manning. In the championship game the 6’ 10” forward led his team to victory by scoring 31 points and grabbing 18 rebounds. It was as though he placed the entire team on his back and took them to victory.

Paul, in his passion to explain the resurrection, is aware that the Law gives us no chance at all. However, because of the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, all who believe in him are carried to victory. He alone has taken away the sting of death!

Jesus has overcome the grave and so we are able to share in his victory.
