Gloriously Like Him

Isn’t it exciting to think about having a body and spirit like Jesus has? The Bible says some fantastic things about our personal resurrection. Like Jesus, we will never die again. We won’t ever get sick or get hurt. He “will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body” (Phil. 3:21b).

In the resurrection our lives will never again be spoiled by sin, selfishness, darkness, or hardness. Our souls will be filled with glory continuously. We will never again be “out of sorts.” We will not have bad hair days or lonely nights. There will be no more grief. There will be no more pain. There will be no more cries of agony from the depths of despair. We will be full of love, joy, peace, wholeness, and light

Jesus said, “Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matt. 13:43).

The same power that forgives us now will resurrect us then. God will give us a body and spirit like Jesus.
