Glassblowing is a fascinating process to watch. The artist, with a long metal tube and a molten piece of glass, blows and shapes the glass into a bubble. The glass is then manipulated with scissors, metal tools, and trips to the furnace to reheat the glass. Any imperfection, a piece of sand or an air bubble, would render the glass useless.
