Psalm 34:15-22
There is a theme throughout Scripture that is echoed here in Psalm 34: God hears and is close to the brokenhearted. We see this idea in the story of Hagar in Genesis 16, where she cries out to God after running away from the abuses of Sarai. Hagar gives God the name “El Roi” which means “the God who sees me.”
We see this again in the New Testament ...
