The Incredible Power of Kingdom Culture

March 25th, 2026

1 Thessalonians 5:12-18.

Living off the grid? Nope, nada, never! For most of us, our lives are bound to others whether family, close friends, or affiliations in places of work, recreation, even worship. The patterns of interaction and relationship are bounded by the protocols of order. Or, in other words, our culture.

Living in the rule and reign of God connects us and forms a community in which we live in Christian fellowship. If one is newly experiencing the shared life of kingdom living, there are three elements that unlock the perspective of transformation. Let’s dive into these experiences.

First, whether you are a “newbie” or a veteran, the most effective way of experiencing kingdom culture is through servanthood. If you haven’t found a place to serve, ask someone to help you find and fill such a place.

Second, be an encourager. We’re wired to see the cracks. That requires no talent or skill. Offering words of encouragement is a conspiracy of grace in which the Holy Spirit empowers the listener. Plus, you get the spillover benefit!

Third, release the power of your own commitment. Never underestimate the power of showing up. Don’t hide in the dugout. You’re needed on the field!
