Finding The Lost
October 22nd, 2025
Deuteronomy 5:28-33.
Parenthood is not for the faint of heart. We endeavor to raise our kids to love God, respect authority, make wise decisions, and to be pleasant, well-mannered individuals. We want what is best for them. We hope that when they are grown, they are God-fearing, kind, hard-working, and well-educated. We hope that they are properly equipped to raise families of their own, thus starting the process all over again.
God wants nothing less for Christ-followers. He wants us to respect His authority, make decisions in accordance with His will, to love like Christ loves, and simply to be kind.
God wants what is best for us. It’s in His plan for us to fear Him, work hard to further His kingdom, and to spread the good news of God’s love. It is God’s hope that we equip new Christ-followers to do the same so that they, too, may help the lost to be found.
We were all lost at one time and in need of God’s grace. It is our responsibility to share God’s love with others, just as it was shared with us, so that all may know the gift of eternal life.
