Jesus Is Coming!

Revelation 22:12-21.
When a package is coming, a message comes that proclaims, “Your package is on its way!” It is a time of expectation and waiting. The arrival of the mail each day is highly anticipated. One day, the package finally arrives, is torn open, and the much-awaited item is rejoiced over.
The book of Revelation is a peek at what life will be like when the package, Jesus, finally arrives. Wrongs will be made right. Tears will be dried. The faithful will live alongside God in the New Jerusalem. Waiting for Jesus to come can feel like when we are waiting for a package. Each day that passes can feel excruciating, especially during suffering and hardship.
Scripture reminds us that Jesus will one day be back. As a result, we continue working toward bringing the kingdom of God here on earth, allowing God to transform us and others. We go into the dark parts of the world bringing the light of hope, knowing that Jesus will come and our labor will not be in vain. Jesus is coming!
