You Are Winning

1 Peter 4:12-19

It’s interesting how we all respond to sketchy situations. And why wouldn’t our responses be “interesting” if the context of our situation wasn’t potentially sketchy!

Just because you are a believer doesn’t mean your life will always be without conflict or confusion. Your best efforts may be misunderstood. Your polished response may fall flat. Take heart. God has not forgotten you. Don’t be surprised.

Of course, when you’ve prepped for every contingency, and the struggle-bus makes a stop at your front door, well, it is a little embarrassing. Wait! It’s not embarrassing! God sent His one, and only Son, and they nailed Him to a cross. You are doing well. The bumps are real. Just don’t be ashamed!

Of course, there will always be someone who looks at your experiences and goes, “Hmm.” That is just natural. Some will have nothing to say because they lack understanding. The best thing we can do in situations like these is to continue doing good. Never quit. Do not give up. Victory will be yours.
