All Charges Dropped

Romans 8:31-39       

What’s keeping you from being a spiritual conqueror? True, no one lives in the spirit of perpetual victory. Every so often, the enemy of your soul will bring out a punch list of corrections that need to be made. Indeed, the enemy may even lay out a list of allegations that might be turned into charges against us.

God’s Word always has a word of blessing with which to share with all who will read it. When you spend time reading the Scriptures with the One who inspired their writing, compilation, and preservation, that good news becomes clear. Hear this: All the charges against you have been dropped. No one can bring condemnation, nor can any separate you from His presence.

Dropped charges, no condemnation, and the promise of no separation—these are the blessings every child of God is supposed to be enjoying every day. Do you find yourself second-guessing your confidence in God’s Word? Have you been tricked into thinking you need to keep looking in the rear view mirror of yesterday?

Hear these words again! You are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
