Tell It Like It Is

March 12th, 2025

John 9:13-23

She sat on the couch across from me, a quiet young wife new to our area. She, along with some extended family, had visited our church several times. As I talked to Diana, I was able to tell her the good news of salvation. I then asked if she would like to be saved. She replied, “Yes, but I don’t know how.” God had surely given me an opportunity to share Jesus, the Light. It was not long before a new child was born into God’s kingdom. What joy!

The man to whom Jesus had given sight was full of joy. He shared with others what Jesus had done for him. There were many astonished people with questions. They insisted on taking him to the Pharisees, the Jewish experts, for an explanation. He told them about receiving this wonderful miracle. No, he couldn’t answer all the experts’ questions. However, he told it like it was.

There are those who will be open to our testimony and those who will not be. We may feel inadequate to answer their questions. We can still tell it like it is in a respectful manner, leaving the results with God.
