Where Do You Turn?

John 5:24-30
Do you have a trusted physician? We’ve had the same doctor for our family for more than 25 years. We trust him to diagnose and treat our physical needs. The care we have received over the years has been excellent and has no doubt extended our lifespans.
Where do you turn for the health of your soul? Romans 10:9 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Note that this is written in the present tense: Jesus, the Son of God, has power over death and life. This isn’t a theoretical possibility for the distant future. Jesus has the power over death and life right now, today.
We are invited into a relationship with Him in which we experience new life today. We die out to the old self, the sinful self, every single day as we surrender our spiritual health to the great physician.
The resurrected Christ has made us whole. The resurrected Christ brings healing. The resurrected Christ has set us free from sin and death.
