Believe and Live

John 6:35-43
It would take a channel surfer about 10 seconds to find a show about someone’s conspiracy theory. If you look hard enough, you’ll discover people in this world who believe just about anything. Sadly, much of what people believe has no foundation in truth. All the same, the truth is out there.
Fortunately, God has preserved a record of the truth for us to learn from and live by—His Word, the Bible. By God’s grace, we can know and choose to believe the truth that Jesus taught as recorded in His Word.
Jesus was fully aware of the distractions and deceptions that plagued the crowds following Him. He knew their hearts and plans and theories. So, to fulfill His own purposes, He set them straight. Jesus told them if they would look to the Son and believe in Him, they’d have eternal life. His hope was that all would believe in Him and live. He still wants that for us today.
The truth is plain and simple: Believe in Jesus and live.
