He Is Faithful

Psalm 9:1-10

It’s easy to get sentimental this time of year. For some of us, it is bittersweet, as we miss our loved ones. For others, it is with the joy of a newborn blessing in our family. Whether we are mourning or rejoicing, as we look back, we can see God has been faithful, even in the hard times. God has not left us even for a second. He is Emmanuel, God with us. God has walked with us through every moment of our journey.

God has helped us through sticky situations, crucial conversations, heartache, hard lessons, humbling experiences, and favorite moments. God has given us creative solutions. God answered prayer requests in new and unexpected ways. God has been and continues to be faithful!

When a small child plays hide-and-seek, they generally make it easy to find them as they giggle or hide in obvious locations. God isn’t playing games with us. He’s easy to find when we seek Him. In fact, He’s right beside us.

He is Emmanuel, God with us, and He’s been faithfully waiting for us to seek Him.
