The Greatest Gift

My mom is the expert present wrapper. The wrapping paper coordinates with the ribbon. Sometimes, the gift is too pretty to unwrap!
Jesus wrapped himself in flesh and the glory of God shone through Him. Jesus is the greatest present we will ever receive. However, He’s not just a present we put on the shelf or quickly forget. Now, through the Holy Spirit, the presence of the Lord continues to dwell with us.
The living Word of God came to us in human form. He is the Alpha and Omega (A to Z) and everything in between. The miracle of Jesus coming to earth as a baby is a mystery of grace. God’s glory was revealed through Jesus. Amazingly, Jesus wants a relationship with us that is real and personal.
On my birthday, I open presents because it is the day of my birth, but the reality is that every day with Jesus is a gift we unwrap fresh and new as He lives and dwells with us. Jesus is the greatest gift we will ever receive.
