Isaiah 40:25-31
Christmas preparations can be a daunting task. Life often moves at daunting speeds all around us, making it hard to simply be present.
Hoping things will turn out all right isn’t the answer. Trusting in the Lord is the only solution. We look to the Lord for direction, protection, and revelation. We have hope that someday, He will wipe every tear from our eyes. We have hope in eternal life for those who receive Christ. We turn to the Lord with every situation, and in turn, the Lord promises to give us strength.
Strength is abundant power to overcome temptation. Strength helps us keep moving forward. God gives us strength to rebuild trust in relationships, to forgive, heal, and restore. Joseph needed strength to remain pledged to Mary after finding out she was pregnant. Mary needed strength to make the journey to Bethlehem when she was about to give birth.
There is no problem too big that God cannot handle. Look to the Lord, who will renew your strength.
