Blameless With Integrity

June 5th, 2023

Psalm 101:1-8

We have all seen it. A family goes out to have fun. The children are so cute. Then it begins. One child has something the other wants. One sibling grabs it from the other, and a fight ensues. In some ways, we expect it. In Psalm 101, the children have grown up and adult behavior is expected; a change of heart is the subject. In the key verse, the writer hits the center of human life: the home.

Walking a blameless path with integrity of heart is just as vital for us as it is for the most prominent leaders. Many can put on a mask in public. At home, our guards are down, and our true selves prevail. Let’s begin our blameless path in our homes and expand in love toward God and neighbors. Philippians 2:14-16 instructs us, “Do everything without grumbling or arguing,so that you may become blameless and pure, ‘children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.’ Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.”
